Canoefest

A pack of boats ply the Whitewater River east fork late Saturday morning during the Canoefest races. Note the swimmer among the canoes in the background. His canoe was quite a bit ahead as other canoers corralled it to the bank. This area of rapids was the site of several mishaps. In the lead canoe are Jennifer Fible and Barry McCarthy.
