Carly McCashland, 7, was selected from a field of 11 young ladies entered in this year’s Little Union County 4-H Pageant.

Carly’s mini 4-H projects include Sewing, My Pet and Me, and Farm Animals. She also enjoys playing with her friends, reading and helping on the farm. She is also involved in horseback riding and gymnastics.

The contestants appeared before judges in a three-minute private interview before the public program, and then appeared on stage wearing big smiles and attired in colorful dresses during the public program at the Liberty Church of Christ.

Judges were: Caroline Koester and Molly Schwab.

The Little Union County 4-H Pageant was held during intervals of the Union County 4-H Fair Queen Pageant on July 14.

When the contestants were called back to the stage, they came back to center stage for the long-awaited announcement by emcee Wyatt Krom... “The 2012 Little Union County 4-H is Carly McCashland.”

As Little Union County 4-H, Carly will assist 2012 Queen Ryleigh Waltz and her court in passing out ribbons and trophies during fair week, July 21-27.

Other contestants were: Lauren Alldredge, Reghan Ann Bolser, Isabel Dare, Lilly Fields, Abigail Delsie Hill, Keilynn Rhyan Jones, Kaylee Klein, Sophia Knock, Payten Logue and Jana Osborne.
