Early Response Team Training

On Saturday, May 19, the Brookville United Methodist Church at 150 East Eighth Street in Brookville will host the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR), Early Response Team (ERT) Training. This one day training from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. will provide training, documentation and credentials necessary to permit access through Homeland Security to disaster affected areas and participate in assessment and organization of disaster relief needs in affected areas following initial securing of the disaster areas and rescue of trapped persons. The cost of the training is $40 per person. The cost includes all training materials, documents required and completion of a background check for all persons completing the training.
